The topics in IELTS Speaking Exam are always about something familiar to you, such as “What you do”, “How are you? etc.
You should not speak too quickly or too slowly. It is also important to have good intonation and stress. You will not get a high score if you are too hesitant and have too many pauses when you speak, although a few pauses to collect your thoughts are fine.
Try not to speak too quickly, either. Rapid speech often indicates a lack of cohesion in what you are saying and severely affects the rhythm and flow of your speech.
Below is the list of few IELTS Speaking Questions by Mark Allen in Mobile Phone category:
Question – Do you have a mobile phone?
Answer – Yes, I have a mobile phone. I carry it with me everywhere I go, well, not everywhere but close to everywhere.
Question – What do you use it for?
Answer – Sometimes I use it for business reasons, but mostly for personal conversations or text messaging. With the phone that I have I can go online or even download books and then read them off my phone. It is so cool.
Question – Who uses a mobile phone the most often in your family?
Answer – Why, it’s me! I talk too much on the phone, and then my phone bill is huge. It’s terrible!
Question – Is a mobile phone important in your life?
Answer – I guess so, for it makes life a lot easier and more convenient, but it’s not like I couldn’t live without it if I had to. Once I went for a whole three days without using my phone, my boyfriend was so proud of me.
